Overview
Aim 1: Evaluate use of spirometry in transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) patients, specifically what gender reference range is being used by clinicians
Aim 2: Examine patient spirometry before and after gender transition to determine what if any impact there is on asthma diagnosis and management, based on spirometry guidelines that use gender-based reference ranges
Aim 3: Determine if there would be any changes in spirometry-based asthma diagnosis if the sex noted on the original birth certificate, or gender identity, were used for the reference value
